Silk is not one fabric. It's a weight.

Every label can say "silk". Few say the momme — and that is what you will notice.

Momme measures how much silk is in every metre. Light silk turns sheer and loses its lustre. Nacré Silk is woven at 19 to 22 momme: dense, opaque, with a soft pearl-like glow.

Most silk is made for one evening. Ours is made for years.
